Moorhaven Grounds Maintenance

In May - the grass grows night and day. And this really is the case at the moment!
We have been quite lucky to have such great weather recently and it is set to continue through the month. Now into month 2 of our new contract - we are making excellent progress around the village and we are also very much enjoying it. Rumour has it that we should finally have quite a decent summer so keep your fingers crossed.
We are managing very well with grass cutting of private gardens - and also managing to keep on top of communal 'areas' too. Some people may have noticed large areas which have been left un-cut in the arboretum and on the corner of Moorpark. These areas are soon to become our wildflower meadows. The aim of this is to introduce a more diverse range of species into the areas, attract lots of bees, birds, butterflies and insects, and of course give a huge splash of colour which I think is very much needed in the village.
Something else in the pipeline for this summer is to organise a day trip to one of Devons many 'open' gardens. There are a few ideas for places to go but I would like to hear from people if they have any ideas of their own. There will be more information to follow on this.
As always, I would still like to meet more shareholders and residents of Moorhaven - so as the weather improves, come out and say hello when you see us about!
